What is International Women's Day?
International Women's Day is a global event marked on March 8th each year recognising the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It's a chance to educate people and raise awareness of women's equality. 2025's theme is 'Accelerate Action' emphasising the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality.
