Lots of people help us every day at school, at home or in our communities.
Watch Inam and Ava talk about the people who help them. How many people with helping jobs can you spot?
Ava: Who helps you and your family?
Inam: Hello, I’m Inam, and this is my family.
This is my Mummy. This is my Daddy, and this is my little sister, Liyana.
There are lots of people who help us, and I like helping people too.
My Mummy is a teacher. She helps children learn new things every day at school.
She helps Liyana and I learn new things at home too. One… Two… Three…
When I grow up, I want to be a firefighter to help everybody be safe.
My Daddy helps others buy healthy food for their families because he works at a food shop. I like it when he brings home different fruit and vegetables, like this pomegranate.
My Taekwondo leader, Jessica, helps other people too. She teaches us how to do Taekwondo in a safe way.
You have to wear a special uniform and bow to each other before a match.
Ava: Hi, I’m Ava, and this is my family.
This is my Mummy. This is my Daddy, and this is my little brother, Rio.
This is our friend, Sabrina. She is a nurse. She helps to make people feel better when they are poorly.
Mummy and I are making Sabrina a thank-you present.
Now the presents are ready to send in the post.
When we go to the post office, the post office person helps to make sure our parcel is sent to Sabrina.
There are lots of people who help us and it’s nice to thank them.
