Terms and Conditions

  1. BBC Mini-Gladiators audience engagement ("the Opportunity") is organised by the British Broadcasting Corporation ("the BBC").

  2. The Opportunity is only open to adults aged 18 or over in the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man excluding any employee of the BBC or a BBC Group company, close relative of a BBC or BBC Group company employee, or an employee of a partner organisation.

  3. You will be invited to submit a short maximum 10 second video of your child performing their own signature Gladiator move with the chance to appear in Gladiators S2 promotional content. This will be featured in the junction ahead of the final episode and/or on BBC social media channels

  4. To submit your video you will need to log into the page with your BBC Account. If you don’t have an account you can register for one for free here. If you have any trouble registering or signing in, you can visit the sign in help pages.

  5. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and be the legal parent or guardian of the child featured in the video. The child must be aged between 5 and 15 years old and be the only person appearing in the video. Applicants must comply with eligibility requirements and complete all stages of the process requested by the BBC. Any failure to do so will result in your entry not progressing further. Applications will open on 17th January 2025 at 6.00am and close on 26th January 2025 at 11.59pm. By providing a completed online form you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You may only enter ONCE per BBC account.

  6. Up to 30 entrants will be shortlisted by 21st February 2025. Selected entrants will be contacted by this date and asked to submit a child contributor release form. Failure to provide a completed child contributor release form by 10th March 2025 will mean that your progress in the Opportunity will stop. Successful entrants will be contacted by 26th March 2025 if they will appear in the final promotional content.

  7. The video entries will be assessed by a separate panel of judges (including relevant production staff) and the best entry selected.

  8. The BBC reserves the right not to provide you any feedback.

  9. The decisions of the BBC are final. Neither correspondence nor discussion shall be entered into.

  10. The description of the Opportunity is not binding and may be subject to change. The BBC shall not be obliged to make any offer if it does not consider entries to be of a sufficient standard.

  11. The BBC shall not be obliged to make use of any entry and shall not be liable for any loss of publicity or enhancement of reputation.

  12. The BBC reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel the Opportunity process if circumstances so require.

  13. The BBC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches any of these Terms and Conditions or to withhold or withdraw any or all offerings under this Opportunity if in its opinion entries do not reach the required standard or for any other reason.

  15. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  16. This is not a competition and there is no prize for entering or taking part.
