Three in court after fatal crash on golf course

Three men charged with manslaughter have appeared in court following the death of a woman in a crash on a golf course.
Suzanne Cherry, 62, from Aldridge, Walsall, died on 15 April, four days after she was struck at Aston Wood Golf Club in Shenstone, by a grey Nissan van which had been involved in a police pursuit.
John McDonald, 51, from Bloxwich, Walsall, who has also been charged with assault by beating, Johnny McDonald, 22, of Dudley, and Brett Delaney, 34, from Darlaston, Walsall, appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday.
They are due at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Wednesday.
A charge of failing to stop a vehicle when directed by a constable against John McDonald, from Booth Street, has been withdrawn.
Mr McDonald, Johnny McDonald, of Molyneux Road, and Brett Delaney, from Michael Road, were remanded in custody.
Ms Cherry was struck at Aston Wood Golf Club
Ms Cherry's husband has described how he "watched in helpless horror" as his wife was fatally injured at the club on Blake Street in Shenstone.
He said she had an "amazing and infectious zest for life" but their "future together was snatched away in an instant".
On Monday, West Midlands Police said the Independent Office for Police Conduct was continuing to investigate the circumstances prior to the collision.
