Hi, I'm Amy. Are you ready to imagine?
Imagination is so important.
We all have our own unique imagination and our imaginations make us who we are.
Today we are going to use movement to show our uniqueness, just like our handwriting which is different from person to person.
So is the way we move. Can you make up a dance move that is unique to you, your signature move?
Let’s have a go at what a signature move could be.
How about this one? Fold your arms. Lean to one side and give three nods.
Yes, or this one. Brush your shoulder.
That's it.
Or, it could even be a freestyle dance like this.
Shake your shoulders. Woo!
I'll show you my signature move. It goes up, up, down, to the side, to the side. Again.
Looking good. It can be difficult to show who we are as we might worry that people might not like our ideas or we can't do the things we want but we should be proud of who we are and know that we are all different and that is okay.
Let's have a go at your own signature moves.
Remember, it doesn't matter what you look like or what anyone might think, just do you!
We all are things we'd like to be, you could be small like a bumblebee or you could be big like a shining star.
Slow like a sloth or fast like a car.
Just use your mind to dream. Imagine your face on a magazine.
A scientist who cures disease or an acrobat on a trapeze or a quiet mouse who draws or a loud lion who sings and roars.
Whatever you might like to be you can dance it expressively.
So hype yourself, feel a groove, use your body and make your move.
Hype yourself, feel a groove, use your body and make your move.
Yeah, hype yourself, feel a groove, use your body and make your move.
Hype yourself, feel a groove, use your body and make your move.
Now think of your own dance move that expresses you.
It can be small or it can be really big. It's whatever suits you.
Have a think and then try it out now.
You can be whoever you want to be. Just let your mind run free.
You can be whoever you want to be. Just let your mind run free.
So hype yourself, feel a groove, use your body and make your move.
Hype yourself, feel a groove, use your body and make your move.
Yea hype yourself, feel a groove, use your body and make your move.
Hype yourself, feel a groove, use your body and make your move.
Your moves were so unique. I love that you were able to express yourself today.
What's great is that your ideas can change as you change, your style your name, your interests.
Don't be afraid to change whenever you want to. Be who you are.
Can you say out loud with me?
I am unique. Ready?
I am unique.
Well done everyone.
Hope to see you soon. Bye.
