Physical wellbeing: Video playlist

Members of Roseburn Primary School’s cycle club describe some of the places they go and the things they learn, including how to look after their bikes, before taking a ride around a beautiful nature spot in Edinburgh.

Students could create a list of the benefits of cycling, such as it being a great form of exercise or a different way to explore nature. Ask students to consider the reasons why a school cycle club is a good idea, and write a persuasive letter to the headteacher, asking for one to be started.

Alternatively, students could explore cycle routes in their local area, and use maps to plan and plot a day out on their bikes.
