    Phew.

What a four days of County Championship action!

That's your lot for this round, more to come on Friday when we have six matches, including four in Division One.

    Hope to see you then!

  2. 'A fine advert for county cricket'published at 18:42 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan (431 & 256-7 dec) draw with Derbyshire (350 & 308-9)

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

You don't get those coming around very often in County Championship cricket.

The result could have gone either way. Deep into the last hour Derbyshire looked favourites to pull off what really would have been an unlikely run chase - the third third highest in their history at 338.

Glamorgan taking wickets at vital times too - young men in Ben Kellaway and Ned Leonard getting most of those wickets keeping their side in the hunt. Then the injured Luis Reece and Blair Tickner defending the last 28 balls.

So it's a draw but what a draw and Glamorgan take 14 points to Derbyshire's 13.

It really has been a fine advert for county cricket.

  3. 'We've seen a classic'published at 18:36 British Summer Time

    Middx (238 & 366-8) beat Kent (129 & 473) by two wickets

    What a match we've seen!

Middlesex with two wickets in hand, with just six balls to spare have managed to win this magical match by two wickets chasing down 365 the victory target to win this one.

We've seen a classic. It's been something special.

Zafar Gohar swings at Matt Parkinson's final delivery and hauls it from outside off stump over the rope to win the match.

    What a match!

That was a nerve-shredding finish and both sides deserve huge credit for a contest which ebbed and flowed both ways before going to the wire.

It was hard at any stage in the four days to confidently predict who was going to come out on top right up to the point of Zafar's six it remained in the balance.

Kent did so well to recover from being shelled out for 129 in the first innings, Daniel Bell Drummond with 223, managed to set a huge target.

But chase Middlesex did and Luke Hollman, with a debut first class hundred, Jack Davies with controlled aggression and 59 runs set it up.

And then Toby Roland-Jones and Zafar Gohar have brought it home with a 52 run stand for the ninth wicket.

Middlesex take the win and 19 points but Kent go home at least having known they have helped produce a classic.

Edged by Zafar Gohar and just short of gully who gets a hand on it and keeps it to two.

This is fine bowling from Kashif Ali who now bangs one in at Zafar's ribs. The Middlesex man responds by dabbing it down for another single.

Seven needed from 12 balls for the win.

  6. GLAMORGAN DRAW WITH DERBYSHIREpublished at 18:23 British Summer Time
    Breaking

    Glamorgan (431 & 256-7 dec) draw with Derbyshire (350 & 308-9)

Luis Reece sees out the last four balls and the game is drawn.

Tension right until the very last minute on day four, but Ben Kellaway can't dislodge Reece.

The Glamorgan spinner finishes with 5-101.

Great game, great advert for county cricket.

    Middx 238 & 355-8 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

    Dan Whiting
    BBC Radio Kent

This game has been going on for four days and both of these sides have been going at each other hammer and tongs.

Who'd have thought that when Kent were bowled all out for 129 we'd be here on the final night at 18:15 BST with the game still in the balance.

  9. Six balls leftpublished at 18:19 British Summer Time

Glamorgan v Derbyshire 307-9 (1 over to go)

Ned Leonard can't make the match-winning breakthrough in the penultimate over.

Blair Tickner will face the last one of the match from Ben Kellaway.

    Six balls to survive...

Two off the over from Matt Parkinson.

There was 51 required when Zafar Gohar and Toby Roland-Jones came together and there are 10 more needed.

  11. Postpublished at 18:15 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 353-8 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

A maiden from Kashif Ali and that could be significant. Middlesex need 12 runs from the last four now.

    Over to you Matt Parkinson.

  12. Postpublished at 18:14 British Summer Time

Glamorgan v Derbyshire 303-9 (two overs to go)

Ben Kellaway floats up six balls, but Derbyshire number 11 Blair Tickner keeps them all out.

    12 deliveries left.

  13. Huge appealpublished at 18:12 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 353-8 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Zafar Gohar has been pinned by Kashif Ali and that looked very, very out but it has not been given.

Nothing looked wrong with the angles there and the only thing that could have saved the Middlesex man is an edge but it was hard to see it.

Massive moment in the game. Looked out.

  14. Postpublished at 18:11 British Summer Time

Glamorgan v Derbyshire 303-9 (three overs left)

18 balls remain, Glamorgan need one wicket.

After paceman Timm van der Gugten throws everything at the two Derbyshire batters, spinner Ben Kellaway will continue.

  15. 'Gloucestershire threw everything at Lancashire'published at 18:11 British Summer Time

    Lancashire (450 & 255-8) draw with Gloucestershire (589-8 dec)

    Ed Seabourne
    BBC Radio Bristol

Gloucestershire have thrown everything that they could at Lancashire today.

Lancashire for the most part with steady contributions all the way down whilst it was that Luke Wells and Tom Hartley partnership that has mostly seen them to safety.

Gloucestershire will take 13 points from this match and Lancashire will take 12.

  16. Postpublished at 18:10 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 353-8 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Close catchers were interested on the first two deliveries from Matt Parkinson but Middlesex take singles after finding the gaps.

Parkinson then goes and offers width to Toby Roland-Jones who leans back and crashes a four to the cover boundary.

Six from the over and Middlesex are getting home here with 12 needed.

  17. 'What was Dal doing?'published at 18:08 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire 293-9 (target 338)

    Dave Fletcher
    BBC Radio Derby Sport

Glamorgan are on the brink of victory here as Anuj Dal for the second time of the match is stumped.

Remarkable, as soon as he missed it he knew it.

People will be wondering what Anuj Dal was doing? I have no idea.

  18. Postpublished at 18:06 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 347-8 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Two off the first ball but an inside edge two balls later falls safe off the bat of Zafar Gohar as Kashif Ali beats him for pace.

There is nearly a mix up over a quick single before a dot ball ends the over.

Middx need 18 more runs with six overs left.

  19. 'A fascinating finish to a fabulous match'published at 18:05 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 342-8 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

    Guy Swindells
    BBC Radio London

This is a fascinating finish to a fabulous match.

I certainly didn't think we'd be on day four when 21 wickets had fallen by lunch time on day two let alone be here at 18:00 BST with seven overs remaining and 20 needed and two wickets in hand for Middlesex.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 18:02 British Summer Time

Dal st Cooke b Kellaway 34 (Glamorgan v Derbyshire 293-9)

Not what Derbyshire needed at this stage.

Anuj Dal dances down the wicket to Ben Kellaway, the ball spins past his inside edge and Chris Cooke whips off the bails.

It's a fifth wicket for Kellaway. Blair Tickner is last man in with 28 balls to survive.
