Introduction
This new musical for schools has been inspired by the book and animated short film adaption (The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, available now on BBC iPlayer) of the same name. It makes an ideal musical performance lasting about one hour.
The playscript for The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse follows a boy, a mole, a fox and a horse as they journey together in the boy’s search for home – a story of kindness, friendship, courage and hope. The play has six songs to learn and opportunities to include performers from many year groups. On the pages below you’ll find sing-along videos of the songs, instrumental backing tracks to download for your performance and sheet music to help you rehearse, as well as a collection of backdrops to support your performance.
